Enable Generative AI
Administrators can choose whether to enable GenAI features for the tenant.
Click
Administration
General. Click Generative AI in
Application Settings.- GenAI is
disabled by default. Click Enable Generative AI to
enable it. Enabling this option gives users access to the SAS Customer Intelligence
360 copilot, which can answer questions about the application. After
you enable this option, you can refine the application's use of
GenAI.
Note: By enabling GenAI for your organization, you acknowledge and agree these terms apply to your organization's use of SAS Customer Intelligence 360.
- (Optional) Enable Opt out of content generation if you do not want to use generative AI to create outbound marketing content. When this is enabled users cannot generate email subjects or push notifications.
- (Optional) Enable Opt out of customer data if you do not want generative AI to interact with customer data. When this option is enabled users cannot use generative AI to create audiences.
List of GenAI Features
When you select Enable GenAI for the application to enable all GenAI features, you can use GenAI in the following places:
- You can use the SAS Customer Intelligence 360 Copilot to get answers to your questions while in the application. The copilot uses the application’s documentation to source answers. - You can use the agent in the
SAS Customer Intelligence
360 Copilot to find information about tasks, audiences and scheduled
journeys. You can also use it to create a scheduled journey that is based off of
information that you enter or attach. For more information, including best

Note: This feature requires a license for SAS 360 Audiences. - SAS 360 Marketing
AI can use GenAI to assist with these actions:
- make recommendations and assist with recipe configuration. For more information, see Best Practices for Recipes in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: User’s Guide.
- preview model in a project
- help to explain and interpret project results for threshold, key performance metrics, and top contributors graph.
- You can use GenAI to suggest field
values for personalization in scheduled journeys. The field remains blank if
GenAI cannot generate an appropriate suggestion or if an inappropriate entry is
entered in the field. Suggestions can be generated in these use
cases:
- A user puts focus on the field and there is an appropriate default value.
- A user begins typing in the field and GenAI can provide a suggestion to complete the value.
- A user enters a word and GenAI can fix a mistake, such as ensuring that names start with an uppercase letter.

alternative content for a mobile push notification's title and notification. For

Model Information
All features use Anthropic's Claude models that are provided by Amazon Bedrock (AWS). In addition, the SAS Customer Intelligence 360 Copilot uses preprocessing steps that include Cohere Embed English 3 and Cohere Rerank 3.5.
