Using the Agent to Search

Search for Information about Items

Use the SAS Customer Intelligence 360 agent when you want to search for information about tasks, audiences and journeys. The agent can answer questions about items, but cannot answer questions about the content of an item. Here are examples of ways that the agent can help:

  • The agent can tell you if an audience is about to expire, but it cannot tell you which criteria the audience contains.
  • The agent can tell you how many email tasks are currently running, but it cannot tell you which tasks contain a specific merge tag.

To access the agent, follow these steps:

  1. Click Open Copilot on the application bar.
  2. Click Agent.
  3. Enter a question.
    • Enter a question or instructions and click Submit. There is a limit of 500 characters and prompts are truncated after 500 characters.
    • Attach a file. The file can contain information that supports what you asked the agent to do when you entered a prompt. The file size cannot exceed 3.75 MB. These are the supported file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, TXT, DOCX, PDF.

Examples of Prompts

There are a lot of things that the agent can help you with or do for you. Here are some examples of the type of actions that the agent can take.

Item Usage

Get usage information about items in the application. Here are some example prompts:

  • Which items will expire in the next week?
  • Which items are out-of-sync?
Note: Currently, the agent can answer questions about these items: tasks, audiences, universal data connections, universal data sources, and journeys.

Audiences

Ask the agent about the audiences in the application. You can search for audiences by properties like the name, status, data source, and so on. You can also ask for details about an audience. Here are some example prompts:

  • Find audiences built using a Snowflake data source.
  • How long do my audiences normally take to run?
  • How many audiences will expire within the next week and which ones are they?

Data Sources

Ask the agent about the data sources in the application. For example, you can ask which data sources are available for you to use.

  • Which connections have the most audiences?
  • Are there any data sources that are not in use?
  • How many audiences use a source called "Snowflake".

Tasks

Ask the agent about the tasks in the application. You can search for tasks by properties like name, channel, type, and status, business context, and so on. You can also ask for details about a task. Here are some example prompts that you can enter:

  • Find all active email tasks.
  • How many email tasks versus SMS tasks do we have?
  • Search for SMS tasks modified in the last 30 days.
  • Find tasks related to the my journey for the winter 2026 campaign.

Scheduled Journeys

Ask the agent about scheduled journeys, including creating a journey for you. Here are some examples prompts that you can enter:

  • How many journeys were created in the last 6 months?
  • How many journeys are active versus scheduled?

You can also have the agent generate a scheduled journey that is based off of information that you enter or attach. For example, if you plan your journeys on a whiteboard, you can attach a picture of your plan for the journey for the copilot to use and write the prompt "Create a journey based on my picture."
