Manage Web Spots

The spot defines where the content that your task delivers is displayed on the web page. When you create the task, you can add either a spot or a spot set to the task. The spot selection can be changed when you are designing your task.

Note: In some cases, the type of spot that you select defines which types of creatives you can add to a task. For example, if you select a JavaScript spot, you must use a plain text creative.
  1. Navigate to the Content tab.
  2. Click Spot.
  3. Click Select Spot to change the spot.
    Note: If the task that you are editing runs JavaScript on a web page, you must use a JavaScript spot.
  4. Select an existing spot or click New Spot to create one. The spot that you create is automatically added to the task.
TipIf you select a spot that contains at least one attribute, you can then target the spot attributes on the Targeting tab.
