RECENGINE Procedure
The ITEMFEATURE statement specifies the table that includes item features to be used in the recommender engine models.
Note: You cannot currently use this statement when you specify the METHOD=KNN option in the PROC RECENGINE statement.
You must specify the following options:
-
DATA=libref.data-table
-
names the input data table for PROC RECENGINE to use. libref.data-table is a two-level name, where
- libref
refers to a collection of information that is defined in the LIBNAME statement and includes the library, which includes a path to the data. For more information about libref, see the section Using SAS Viya Workbench.
- data-table
specifies the name of the input data table.
Note that the item ID variable that you specify in the ITEMID statement must be one of the columns of the item feature data set.
-
INPUT=(variables)
specifies the names of the item feature variables that are candidates for the model. You must enclose the variables in parentheses. Again, note that the item ID variable that you specify in the ITEMID statement must be one of the INPUT= option variables.
You can also specify the following option after a slash (/):
-
NOMINAL=(variables)
specifies the names of the variables in the INPUT= option that are nominal.
