Batch Execution

The docMM1 example discussed in the previous section does not require any data input, output, or execution of a SAS program in the simulation model. However, many models do require data input or output during execution. As discussed in Chapter 13: Data Input, Collection, and Analysis, any data input, output, or execution of a SAS Program through Simulation Studio requires Simulation Studio to interact with a SAS or JMP Server.

This section describes interaction with SAS Workspace Servers, which can be local or remote.
