Model Forecasts (OUTFOR_MODEL)

Hierarchical Models

This table has the same schema as OUTFOR and can be generated by the Hierarchical Forecasting and Hierarchical Forecasting (Pluggable) modeling nodes. For most models, the OUTFOR_MODEL table contains the forecasts generated at the lowest level of the hierarchy before reconciliation. For Hierarchical Modeling, this table contains the forecasts for the level selected in the Save Data node for generation.

If reconciliation is set to the lowest level in the hierarchy, then this table is identical to the OUTFOR table. If the reconciliation level is set at a higher level than the level in the hierarchy, then the forecasts in the OUTFOR table are adjusted to make sure each level agrees with the total forecasts in the reconciliation level.

Neural Network Models

You can generate an OUTFOR_MODEL table for the Multistage Model. This table provides the forecasted values after stage 2 using neural network or regression model, but before reconciliation.

The schema for this table is similar to the OUTFOR table but with these differences.

• The table includes the time variable, the BY variables, and ACTUAL and PREDICT. If there is an error in stage 1, the table also includes _NAME_, STD, LOWER, UPPER, and _ERROR.
• The following variables are also included in this table for Multistage Model.
