LMIXED Procedure
The TEST statement performs hypothesis tests on the fixed effects. You can specify multiple effects in one TEST statement or in multiple TEST statements.
You can specify the following options in the TEST statement after a slash (/):
-
CHISQ
performs
tests in addition to any F tests. A
statistic equals its corresponding F statistic times the associated numerator degrees of freedom, and PROC LMIXED uses the same degrees of freedom to compute the p-value for the
test. This p-value is always less than that for the F test, because a
test effectively corresponds to an F test that has infinite denominator degrees of freedom.
-
DF=number
specifies the denominator degrees of freedom for the F test. The default is the residual degrees of freedom that you define by specifying the DDFM=RESIDUAL option.
-
E
displays matrix coefficients that are associated with test types for specified effects.
-
E3
EIII
displays Type III matrix coefficients if a Type III test is performed.
