SAS Drive: Retirement Considerations
The SAS Drive application is retired, and the 2026.05 release is the final release of the product.
You can access the functionality of SAS Drive in other applications as follows:
- The Welcome to SAS Viya application replaces SAS Drive as the default landing page for the SAS Viya platform. The Welcome to SAS Viya application acts as the central access point for your SAS Viya platform applications and provides links to demos.
- The Content page in SAS Environment Manager provides the content management functionality of SAS Drive. For more information, see SAS Environment Manager Content Functionality.
- Most applications on the SAS Viya platform provide content management functionality for their own content type. For example, SAS Visual Analytics enables you to manage your reports on the home page.
- The Applications menu for SAS Viya platform applications has a new Content pane that provides quick access to your recent content, favorites, or shared content. The Content pane displays content of all types.
