CSPATIALREG Procedure

The CSPATIALREG procedure is specifically designed to operate on SAS Viya and performs computations in multiple threads on multiple machines. In comparison, the SPATIALREG procedure executes in multiple threads on a single machine. The CSPATIALREG procedure models cross-sectional data in a way that is similar to how the SPATIALREG procedure in SAS/ETS software models them.

The CSPATIALREG procedure now supports all the models that are supported by PROC SPATIALREG and new conditional autoregressive (CAR) models that are not supported by PROC SPATIALREG. In addition, PROC CSPATIALREG supports impact estimation for the following models: CAR, linear, SAC, SAR, SARMA, SDAC, SDARMA, SDEM, SDM, SDMA, SEM, SMA, and SLX models. Furthermore, PROC CSPATIALREG supports the fitting and comparison of multiple models. PROC SPATIALREG does not provide any of this support.
