EXTRACTOBJECTS Procedure

PROC EXTRACTOBJECTS Statement

  • PROC EXTRACTOBJECTS DATA=libref.data-table <options>;

The PROC EXTRACTOBJECTS statement invokes the procedure.

You must specify the following option:

DATA=libref.data-table

names the input data table for PROC EXTRACTOBJECTS to use. The default is the most recently created data table. libref.data-table is a two-level name, where

libref

refers to a collection of information that is defined in the LIBNAME statement and includes the library, which includes a path to the data, and a session identifier, which defaults to the active session but which can be explicitly defined in the LIBNAME statement. For more information about libref, see the section Using CAS Sessions and CAS Engine Librefs.

data-table

specifies the name of the input data table.

You can also specify the following options:

COORDINATEFORMAT=COCO |RECT |YOLO
CF=COCO |RECT |YOLO

specifies the format of input annotations that are used to define the boundaries of the detected objects. By default, COORDINATEFORMAT=RECT. For more information, see the section Supported Image Annotation Formats.

MAXOBJECTS=number

specifies the maximum number of detected objects to extract from the image data in the input table, where number is a positive integer. By default, MAXOBJECTS=10.

METHOD=CROP |HIGHLIGHT

specifies the method of object detection. You can specify the following types:

CROP

creates rectangular patches of detected regions from the input image.

HIGHLIGHT

draws bounding boxes around the detected objects in the input image.

By default, METHOD=HIGHLIGHT.
