EXPLAINER Statement

  • EXPLAINER <options>;

The EXPLAINER statement specifies the options to use in the LASSO regression.

You can specify the following options:

MAXEFFECTS=number

specifies the maximum number of effects that the LASSO regression can select.

MINEFFECTS=number

specifies the minimum number of effects that the LASSO regression can select.

STANDARDIZEESTIMATES=INTERVALS | NONE

specifies the variables whose parameter estimates should be standardized. You can specify the following values:

INTERVALS

specifies that the parameter estimates of all interval variables should be standardized.

NONE

specifies that no parameter estimates of any variable should be standardized.
