Overview of Base SAS High-Performance Procedures
This book describes Base SAS high-performance utility procedures that are included when you install one or more of the traditional SAS products that are shown in the following table:

You can run high-performance utility procedures in single-machine mode without licensing any of the SAS High-Performance Analytics products that are listed in the preceding table. However, to run these procedures in distributed mode, you must license at least one of the High-Performance Analytics products.
