FILTEREDSETALLBYFILTER Method

Sets the cell in the specified column to the specified value if the specified comparison evaluates to true. The comparison operation is defined using a filter.

Notes:This method returns the number of rows that were changed in the data grid. If an error occurs, the return value is Missing-Value.
Support for this method starts in 2025.02.

Syntax

package.FILTEREDSETALLBYFILTER(filter, setColName, setValue [, varList]);

Package Variable

package

specifies a name that references the datagrid package instance.

Required Arguments

filter

specifies the row selection criteria. For more information, see About the Filter Syntax in SAS DS2 Programmer’s Guide.

setColName

specifies the name of the column to be assigned the specified value.

setValue

specifies the value to assign.

Optional Arguments

varList

specifies a DS2 varlist that contains the set of DS2 variables to use to resolve the parameterized values in the filter. The parameter resolution code expects the data type of the DS2 varList variable to be consistent with the data type of the associated column.
