Table Action Set: Syntax

Provides actions for accessing and managing data

tableDetails Action

Get detailed information about a table.

See: Results
Load a SASHDAT File from a Caslib
table.tableDetails <result=results> <status=rc> /
caslib="string",
level="NODE" | "PARTITION" | "SUM",
required parameter name="table-name",
perNode=integer,
showMem=TRUE | FALSE
;
indicates a required parameter

Parameter Descriptions

caslib="string"

specifies the caslib for the input table that you want to use with the action. By default, the active caslib is used. Specify a value only if you need to access a table from a different caslib.

level="NODE" | "PARTITION" | "SUM"

specifies the aggregation level for the table details.

DefaultSUM

* name="table-name"

specifies the table name.

Aliastable

perNode=integer

specifies the maximum number of blocks to report from any node. This parameter helps limit the result size for large tables with a lot of blocks.

Default100
Minimum value0

showMem=TRUE | FALSE

when set to True, the results include memory information such as data size (in bytes), mapped memory, unmapped memory, and allocated memory.

DefaultTRUE
