DATA Step Action Set: Syntax
Provides actions for running a SAS DATA step
runCode Action
Runs DATA step code.
| Example: | Run a DATA Step Program |
Summary: Input Tables
If a row includes a subparameter, you can specify the name, caslib, and so on in the subparameter. Otherwise, you can specify the name, caslib, and so on in the parameter.
|
Parameter |
Subparameter |
Description |
|---|---|---|
|
— |
specifies an input table that contains rows to use as a WHERE filter. |
Parameter Descriptions
* code="string"
specifies the DATA step code to run.
nThreads=64-bit-integer | "MAX"
specifies the number of threads that are used to run the program. For distributed servers, this value specifies the number of threads on each worker to use for running the program.
single="NO" | "NOINPUT" | "YES"
specifies when to restrict execution to a single thread.
| Default | NO |
|---|
NOINPUT
run the program in one thread when there are no input data sets. When there are input data sets, the nThreads parameter specifies the number of threads to use. For distributed servers, if the program has no input data sets, the program runs in one thread on one worker. Otherwise, the nThreads parameter specifies the number of threads to use.
whereTable={groupbytable}
specifies an input table that contains rows to use as a WHERE filter.
| Long form | whereTable={name="table-name"} |
|---|---|
| Shortcut form | whereTable="table-name" |
The groupbytable value can be one or more of the following:
casLib="string"
