STORE Statement

  • STORE <OUT=>CAS-libref.data-table;

  • SAVESTATE <OUT=>CAS-libref.data-table;

This section applies to the following procedures: BART, GAMMOD, GAMSELECT, GENSELECT, KCLUS, LMIXED, LOGSELECT, QTRSELECT, REGSELECT, and TREESPLIT.

The STORE or SAVESTATE statement saves the context and results of the statistical analysis. The resulting analytic store has a binary file format that cannot be modified. An example of using analytic store technology is to perform a time-consuming analysis and to store its results by using the STORE statement. Later you can perform specific statistical analysis tasks based on the saved results of the previous analysis, without having to fit the model again. The contents of the analytic store can be processed by the ASTORE procedure (see Chapter 3, The ASTORE Procedure (SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning: Procedures)) and the astore action (see Chapter 4, Analytic Store Scoring Action Set (SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning: Programming Guide)). There might also be other actions in your action set that use the restore parameter to perform other tasks on your analytic store.
