The PHSELECT Procedure

CLASS Statement

  • CLASS variable <(options)> <variable <(options)>> </ global-options>;

The CLASS statement names the classification variables to be used as explanatory variables in the analysis. You can list the response variable for binary models in the CLASS statement, but this is not required. Table 16.2 summarizes the values that you can use for either an option or a global-option. The options are fully documented in the section CLASS Statement in Chapter 3: Shared Concepts.
