STORE Statement

  • STORE <OUT=>libref.data-table;

  • SAVESTATE <OUT=>libref.data-table;

This section applies to the following procedures: BART, GAMMOD, GAMSELECT, GENSELECT, KCLUS, LMIXED, LOGSELECT, QTRSELECT, REGSELECT, and TREESPLIT.

The STORE or SAVESTATE statement saves the context and results of the analysis. The resulting analytic store exists in memory in a binary file format that cannot be modified. The data table that is specified in the STORE statement references the analytic store in memory. An example of using analytic store technology is to perform a time-consuming analysis and to store its results by using the STORE statement. Later you can perform specific analysis tasks based on the saved results of the previous analysis, without having to fit the model again. The contents of the analytic store can be processed by the ASTORE procedure (see Chapter 4, ASTORE Procedure (SAS Viya Workbench: Machine Learning Procedures)) and your procedure’s documentation might describe other ways to use this item store. To save the analytic store on disk, use the DOWNLOAD statement in PROC ASTORE.
