The BART Procedure

Syntax: BART Procedure

The following statements are available in the BART procedure:

  • PROC BART <options>;

  • BY variables;

  • CLASS variable…<variable>;

  • DISPLAY <table-list> </options>;

  • DISPLAYOUT table-spec-list </options>;

  • FREQ variable;

  • GAUSSPRIOR prior-options </option>;

  • MODEL response=variables;

  • OUTPUT OUT=CAS-libref.data-table <SAMPLEPRED><ALPHA=number> <COPYVARS=(variables)><keyword <=name>>…<keyword <=name>>;

  • PARTITION partition-options;

  • SAMPSUMMARY OUT=CAS-libref.data-table <keyword=name>…<keyword=name>;

  • STORE <OUT=>CAS-libref.data-table;

  • TREEPRIOR <prior-options>;

The PROC BART statement and one MODEL statement are required; you can specify only one MODEL statement. The CLASS statement can appear multiple times. If you specify a CLASS statement, it must precede the MODEL statement. The following sections describe the PROC BART statement and then describe the other statements in alphabetical order.
