The INPUT statement names input variables with common options. The INPUT statement can be repeated. You can specify the following options:
LEVEL=level
specifies the level of measurement of the variables. Accepted values of level are: BINARY, NOMINAL, ORDINAL, and INTERVAL. Specifying BINARY is the same as specifying NOMINAL.
ORDER=order
specifies the sorting order of the values of an ordinal input variable. Table 1 provides recognized values of order.

The DSORDER sort option is not supported for input data sets stored on the SAS appliance.
