HISTOGRAMEQ Statement

HISTOGRAMEQ <option>;

The HISTOGRAMEQ statement maps the intensity distribution of an input image to another distribution that is wider and has a more uniform distribution of intensity values. For more information about this statement, see the section HISTOGRAMEQ.

You can specify the following option:

METHOD=ADAPTIVE |GLOBAL

specifies the histogram equalization method.

By default, METHOD=GLOBAL.
