EXTRACTOBJECTS Procedure

OUTPUT Statement

  • OUTPUT OUT=libref.data-table <options>;

The OUTPUT statement creates an output data table that contains the results of PROC EXTRACTOBJECTS.

You must specify the following option:

OUT=libref.data-table

names the output data table for PROC EXTRACTOBJECTS to use. You must specify this option before any other options. libref.data-table is a two-level name, where

libref

refers to a collection of information that is defined in the LIBNAME statement and includes the library, which includes a path to where the data table is to be stored, and a session identifier, which defaults to the active session but which can be explicitly defined in the LIBNAME statement. For more information about libref, see the section Using CAS Sessions and CAS Engine Librefs.

data-table

specifies the name of the output data table.

You can also specify the following options:

ADDVARS=(value-list)
ADDVAR=(value-list)

specifies a list of one or more optional metadata to add to the output table. You can specify a value-list in parentheses, or you can specify a single value in parentheses. The specified values must be unique.

You can specify the following values:

CHANNELCOUNT

produces an additional metadata variable named _channelCount_, which contains the number of channels in each pixel.

CHANNELTYPE

produces an additional metadata variable named _channelType_, which contains a string that indicates the number of bits in each channel and indicates whether the value is signed or unsigned.

DEPTH

produces an additional metadata variable named _depth_, which contains the number of 2-D slices in a 3-D image.

HEIGHT

produces an additional metadata variable named _height_, which contains the number of pixels along the height of the image.

WIDTH

produces an additional metadata variable named _width_, which contains the number of pixels along the width of the image.

COPYVAR=(variables)
COPYVARS=(variables)

lists one or more variables from the input data table to be transferred to the output data table.

ENCODING=JPG |PIXEL

specifies the encoding of the images in the output table. By default, the images are added to the output table in their existing format. You can specify one of the following values:

JPG

specifies that the images should be encoded and added to the output table in JPG format.

PIXEL

specifies that the images should be decoded and added to the output table as raw pixel values.

FORMAT=MULTIPLECOLUMNS |MULTIPLEROWS

specifies whether to save the cropped detections from a single image in multiple columns and one row or in one column and multiple rows in the output table. By default FORMAT=MULTIPLEROWS. For more information, see the section Cropping Detected Objects.
